For newly laid or cleaned floors, a second layer can be applied in the cross direction for additional protection. In heavily trafficked areas, a third layer in the length direction is recommended. The protective layer should dry for at least 12 hours, preferably overnight. To refresh PU-finished floors, the floor must first be thoroughly cleaned with a Base Cleaner R or PU Cleaner. For maintenance cleaning, Supermat is diluted in a ratio of 1:100 to 1:200 with water to remove light soiling.
