It makes the surface more vibrant and water-repellent, with a light shine that can be increased by polishing. The color-enhancing effect can effectively cover existing stains. The product is ideal for the initial treatment of new surfaces and for refreshing unsightly, greyed slate surfaces.

How the product works

Lithofin MN Slate-Oil works by penetrating deeply into the surface and forming a protective layer that enhances the stone's natural colors. For new floors, it is important to let them dry thoroughly first. Apply the oil generously and evenly with a cloth or mop and let it dry. For soiled surfaces, apply the oil liberally, let it sit for a few minutes, and wipe away the loosened dirt with a dry cloth. Then apply the oil again and let it dry. Polishing can increase the shine. The product is easy to use and with repeated application, there is hardly any buildup as the old layer is largely dissolved.

If the result is insufficient, the product can be reapplied and evenly distributed. Consumption is approximately 20 m² per liter, depending on the substrate.

Maintenance and Additional Tips

Due to its cleaning effect, Lithofin MN Slate-Oil is suitable for regular application. For heavily soiled surfaces, you can use Lithofin MN Power-Clean. For regular maintenance of slate surfaces, Lithofin MN Wash & Clean is recommended. Store the product closed and dry between 10-25°C. It is stable for up to 3 years. Ensure that the product does not enter the sewage system and keep it out of reach of children. Always wear protective clothing and gloves during application and ensure good ventilation.
