Apply HMK S246 with a soft brush or roller to a clean, dry, and stain-free surface. Make sure the floor is well-cleaned and that any underfloor heating is turned off. Remove excess product with a cloth before it dries.
The drying time of HMK S246 depends on temperature and air circulation, but is usually between 4 and 8 hours. The full protective effect develops within 48 hours.
HMK S246 is suitable for composite-quartz surfaces such as kitchen countertops, floors, and other indoor and outdoor applications. It can be used on polished, honed, and brushed surfaces.
The frequency of reapplication depends on the intensity of use and the surface. Generally, one treatment offers long-lasting protection, but it may be necessary to repeat the treatment periodically, especially on outdoor surfaces.
The consumption of HMK S246 depends on the porosity of the surface, but is usually between 15 and 30 m² per liter.
HMK S246 is specifically designed for composite-quartz. For other materials, it is recommended to use another suitable impregnating agent specifically developed for that material.
Store HMK S246 in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. The product has a shelf life of about two years when stored correctly.
Ensure good ventilation during use and wear a respirator with a filter if necessary. Avoid contact with food, as the product may transfer odors before it is fully dried.
