How to remove grease and oil from natural stone surfaces?
How can I remove grease and oil from my natural stone floors without damaging them?
Natural stone flooring is favoured for its robustness and sophisticated look. Yet, grease and oil stains can quickly tarnish these surfaces and prove challenging to eliminate. This issue is particularly prevalent in kitchens and dining areas. Harsh cleaning chemicals may harm the floor and reduce its natural lustre. Thus, it's crucial to choose a cleaning product that is both effective and gentle, specifically formulated for natural stone.
Use Lithofin MN Power-Clean to safely and effectively remove grease and oil from natural stone surfaces
Lithofin MN Power-Clean is a mildly alkaline cleaner devoid of solvents, crafted for the maintenance of natural stone. The product dissolves oil, grease, surface treatments, and remnants of floor care products while removing light cement deposits and general grime. It is apt for both indoor and outdoor applications on polished, finely honed, and rough marble and natural stone, alongside concrete stone and synthetic materials such as quartz composites.
To use, dilute Lithofin MN Power-Clean with up to ten parts water based on the level of dirt present. Distribute it evenly on the floor, allowing it to dwell for 10-20 minutes. Scrub if needed, then rinse thoroughly with ample water. For stubborn grime, the procedure can be repeated using a stronger mix or extended contact time. Avoid letting the product dry on the surface.
Lithofin MN Power-Clean is excellent for deep-cleaning heavily soiled areas and for post-installation cleaning of new tiles. With a coverage of approximately 5-10 m² per litre (diluted up to 30 m² per litre), it suits both small and expansive spaces. Additional specialised Lithofin products are available for tackling tough stains or cement residues.
